Fotografer Wanita Indonesia Berjaya di Kontes Foto Internasional National Geographic

1. Foto karya Fransisca Harlijanto meraih Honorable Mention pada kategori Alam (Nature). Foto under water ini berlokasi di Pulau Komodo, Indonesia saat sang fotografer mendapatkan momen ribuan ikan bergerak dalam sebuah irama yang serasi saat ikan pemangsa muncul.

2. Foto karya Indra Swari Wonowidjojo meraih Honorable Mention pada kategori Places ( tempat). Foto berjudul Eerie Eiffel berlokasi di Paris Prancis. Nuansa temaram dan suram saat mendung di kala musim dingin berhasi  menciptakan foto yang bernuansa berbeda dengan latar belakang menara Eiffel.

Dunia fotografi biasanya di kuasai oleh kaum pria , namaun ternyata ada beberapa wanita yang juga mahir di bidang fotografi . Dua fotografer wanita asal Indonesia ini mampu membuktikan bahwa kemampuan fotografi dan pemahaman visual dalam dunia fotografi di Indonesia sudah setara. Jika para juri internasional sekelas National Geographic menghargai karya 2 fotografer wanita Indonesia ini, sudah selayaknya masyarakat Indonesia memberi penghargaan lebih terhadap dunia fotografer dan para fotografer sebagai penghasil karya khususnya.
